Accessibility Arrangements at the Venue
The Be'er Sheva Performing Arts Center works to advance accessibility in partnership with the NGO Access Israel. We view patrons with disabilities as equal participants, entitled to full access to the venue's facilities and services.
We place great importance on providing quality, equitable service and do everything in our power to ensure that patrons with disabilities enjoy a welcoming experience at the Be'er Sheva Performing Arts Center.

Accessibility of the Performing Arts Center Building
- Accessible parking: the Performing Arts Center's parking lot includes several clearly marked accessible parking spaces.
- Accessible routes: accessible pathways and wide corridors lead from the parking area to the box office, the cafés, and the halls.
- Accessible entrance to the administration offices and the box office, located to the right of the artists' entrance. Please ring the intercom to have the door opened.
- Elevators: all elevators are accessible and equipped with voice announcements and Braille labels beside the buttons. Elevator dimensions comply with legal standards.
- Accessible restroomsthat meet all standard dimensions are located in every lobby of the venue and are equipped with Call-Hear emergency call buttons.
- The furniture Seating in waiting areas and cafés includes seats suitable for people using wheelchairs.
- Accessible drinking fountains are located in the corridors and are usable by those in wheelchairs.

Accessible Service
- Our telephone service is designed for patrons with disabilities - without hold music, at a measured pace, and in clear language.

- If you require accessible seating in the hall, please indicate this at the time of purchase.
- The service desks at the venue and at the on-site cafés are equipped with Loop-Hear assistive listening systems with induction loops.
Accessible Service Policies
- Service animals: in accordance with the law, the venue welcomes patrons with visual impairments who are accompanied by service animals, and they may access all venue services without restriction. Entry is also permitted for guide dogs in training, provided the dog is on a leash and wearing a "Guide Dog in Training" vest.
- Skipping the queue: available upon presentation of an eligibility card. In addition, under Amendment 15 to the Senior Citizens Law, patrons over the age of 80 may skip the queue upon request.
Staff Training
All members of the venue's management and service teams have received professional training in accessible service.
Assistive Listening Systems
- For your convenience, the venue's halls are equipped with an advanced technological system for patrons who are hard of hearing and for the general public - enabling real-time audio listening through the Bettear app or through a dedicated receiver that can be borrowed from the lobby, in coordination with the evening managers.
- Download the Bettear app from your app store (Android, iPhone).
- Bring your own headphones when you arrive at the hall (headphones may also be borrowed at the entrance).
- Open the Bettear app in the hall - connection to the network is automatic.
- We recommend downloading the app in advance and running the demo and calibration.

Assistive Vision Aids

The RIGHT HEAR wayfinding system for people with visual impairments RIGHT HEAR has been installed at the venue, replacing the earlier STEP HEAR system (which remains as a backup only in the outdoor area and at the hall entrances).

Ticket Pricing for Patrons with a Disability Card:
Patrons presenting a valid disability card are eligible for the reduced ticket price offered at each performance.
