Yair Nagid born in the city of Beer Sheva 1972 graduate of a bachelor's degree in humanities and social sciences at the Open University and a graduate of a master's degree in public policy and management at Ben Gurion University and a graduate of the Mandel Program for Leadership in the Public Sector. After 25 years in the public sector with diverse roles in municipal culture, Yair arrived at the Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva. In his previous role he served as head of the culture administration in Beer Sheva. The first employee of the youth department that was established in 1999 in the Beer Sheva municipality under the leadership of the current mayor Mr. Ruvik Danilovich. As part of his roles he enriched the cultural life in the city of Beer Sheva which became the cultural center of the Negev. Built a diverse municipal cultural repertoire, established the events department, was a partner in the establishment of a variety of cultural institutions in the city of Beer Sheva: the Zalmania, the Dance House, Mulu'alam, Artichoke Gallery, The Gallery in the Locomotive, Beit Homa, the Sculpture Garden in Remez Park and more, brought international performances and art exhibitions, produced festivals and municipal events such as: the Wine Festival, Beach Party ,the Beer Festival, the Spice Avenue, the Municipal Chugim Festival, the Coffee Festival, Youth City, Gazoz Festival and more. In the last 4 years he also serves as vice chairman of the Association of Culture Directors in Local Authorities and is responsible for the association's government relations. Has rich experience in television production and creation. Served as an editor and broadcaster of prime time programs on Radio Darom, took part in the establishment of the production department of Radio Darom, produced many commercial broadcasts and engaged in musical editing and narration. He began his military service as a combat soldier in the Airborne Nahal. To this day volunteers for reserve duty in the role of an information officer in the Home Front Command with the representative rank of Major. Married to Meirav, and father to Oz, to Amit and to Omer.
