Claudia Czobel was born in Buenos Aries, Argentina, in 1974. Moving to Israel at a very
young age, she grew up and went to school at Kibbutz Sde Yoav. In 2006 she joined the
managerial staff of the Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva as director of marketing and
administration, and several years later she was appointed deputy director general for
operations and marketing. Since 2017 she has served as the orchestra’s CEO
In the course of her work, she took part in concluding the updated collective agreement,
increased the quantity of subscriptions and of the orchestra’s concerts, and produced and
managed the orchestra’s tours abroad.
From 2001 to 2006 she was head of the marketing and sales team of Hamei Yoav—the site
of one of Israel’s largest and best-known thermo-mineral water baths.
In the IDF she served as a human-resources officer at the Bahad 4 base.
Claudia earned a BA with honors in the social sciences (sociology and criminology) from Bar-
Ilan University. Since 2016 she has also been a certified personal coach, having completed a
course in coaching at IKA (the Israeli Coaching and Strategic Consulting Institution). In
addition, Claudia coaches teenage girls on menstruation and good sexuality as a means to
foster the equality and promotion of women.
